I'm Michele Buckingham. I advise leaders of professional services firms on growth, leadership, and change.

My career has been spent inside professional services. At LaPorte, Deloitte, and Strategic Marketing Partners, I worked with partners and executive teams on the things that decide whether a firm grows: its strategy, its clients, its reputation, and its people.

Along the way I learned that most of the challenges firms bring to an outside advisor aren't really marketing problems or strategy problems. They're leadership problems. Partners who aren't aligned. Talented people who were promoted without being prepared. Plans that no one owns.

NewOz is where I do that work directly now, as an independent advisor to the people leading firms and a coach to the people who will lead them next.

I'm based in Houston and work with firms across Texas and beyond, in person and by video.
