Most recently, before re-establishing her first business growth-consulting firm which closed in 2005 due to Hurricane Katrina, Terry headed University New Orleans’ overall marketing and communications efforts as the Associate Vice President of Marketing and Communications, overseeing a staff of 20. She supervised the Offices of Publications, Creative Services, Web Communications, and Public Affairs to develop and implement university-wide marketing strategies for communicating with various university constituents.
Terry has a M.F.A. degree in Communications from Southern Methodist University and a B.A. in Communications from Loyola University New Orleans.
